We invite you to join your fellow Red Sox Nation-Villages members Wednesday,
March 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Himalayan Putting Course (near the Riley Grove starter
shack at Palmer Legends) for “Putting the Himmies.”
The Himalayan Putting Course is nine holes of mountains, valleys, twists and
turns—all designed to ensure that you don’t make a hole-in-one. It is on Village
property and is golf cart accessible. You do not have to know how to golf to
participate. Just bring a putter and a golf ball (and if you need either, please
contact Richard Hill—contact information below).
The event will be limited to 54 participants. The entrance fee will be $5.00 per
person. The bulk of the entrance fees will be used for cash prizes to the low
20 scores. We also will be distributing special Hole-in-One certificates to anyone
who is lucky (and/or skillful) enough to earn one.
The Award Luncheon, which is not included in the entrance fee, immediately
follows at the Palmer Country Club restaurant and is on your own. The Award
Luncheon is optional, but please stay long enough to watch the certificate
presentations and see if you have won a cash prize. For many people,
participating in the putting tournament is simply a good excuse to join fellow
RSN-V members for a great lunch at Palmer.
This always has been a fun event in the past and fills up quickly, so be sure to complete
the entry form and return it as quickly as possible. Send the entry form along with a
check for $5 per person, to:
