This scholarship honors the founder of Red Sox Nation - Villages, Art Plant, who started the club in 2011. His enthusiasm and initiatives grew this club to be the largest chapter of Red Sox Nation in America.
Open Application Period: January 1 to June 1, 2022
Scholarship Recipients will be announced on June 15, 2022
· Applications open on January 1st and must be returned No Later Than June 1st.
· Scholarship winners will be announced on June 15.
· Scholarship winners will be contacted by provided email address.

Art Plant Founders Scholarship Winners for 2021.
Ross Nalbandian, the grandson of members Rod and Debbie Ross. A graduate of San Pascual H.S. in Escondido, California, Ross earned a 4.6 GPA while garnering numerous awards including:
2021 Valedictory Circle-ranked 2nd in a class of 506 Principal’s Honor Roll Award: 2018-2021 President’s Award for Academic Excellence: 2018-21 National Honors Society: 2020-21
The Jim Furyk Grit Award
Varsity Golf 2021
Sports Editor for the Eagle Eye school Newspaper.
Ross will be attending UCLA this fall.
Riley Kublin, the granddaughter of member Jeff Kublin. A graduate of Effingham County H. S. in Springfield, Georgia, Riley earned a 4.0 GPA while actively involved in many clubs and community activities including National Honor Society, Athletic Student Leadership Club, Pet Rescue as well as The Children's Hospital of Savannah.
Riley will be attending Augusta University this fall.
Owen Pugh, the grandson of our outgoing Membership Chair Lou Emond. A graduate of the Sturgis Charter Public School on Cape Cod, Owen has been a Boy Scout, actively involved in community work on the Cape for several years and an avid Red Sox Fan.
Owen will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) this fall.
